The Vice President of Outcomes, Quality & Performance is a key enterprise leader responsible for defining how New Story measures success, demonstrates impact, and drives continuous improvement across its national network of schools and programs. This role establishes the systems, frameworks, and accountability structures that ensure organizational decisions are guided by meaningful outcomes, high-quality data, and evidence-based practices.

As the architect of the organization's outcomes strategy, you will partner with leaders across education, behavioral health, operations, technology, and executive leadership to develop enterprise-wide measurement systems that support student success and organizational excellence. Your work will help translate data into action, strengthen performance across the organization, and demonstrate impact to families, districts, investors, and other stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of leadership experience in outcomes measurement, analytics, research, accountability, quality improvement, data systems, or related fields

  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing performance measurement, reporting, or continuous improvement systems that drive organizational results

  • Strong expertise in data governance, analytics, performance management, quality systems, and strategic planning

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving data, technology, operations, and organizational stakeholders

  • Exceptional ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategy, decision-making, and organizational improvement

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and evolution of New Story's enterprise outcomes framework, measurement methodologies, and reporting standards

  • Establish data governance practices, quality standards, and reporting processes that ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity

  • Design dashboards, scorecards, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights to school, regional, and executive leaders

  • Build and lead enterprise performance management systems that support accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic goal attainment

  • Serve as business owner for key data and reporting platforms while advancing research, evaluation, and organizational impact initiatives

Why You'll Love Working Here

This is an opportunity to shape how impact is measured, communicated, and improved across a growing organization dedicated to serving students with complex needs. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions, organizational effectiveness, and student outcomes nationwide.

You'll join a collaborative leadership team that values innovation, transparency, and continuous improvement. We believe meaningful outcomes require strong systems, thoughtful analysis, and leaders who can connect data to action.

As a member of the executive leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to build enterprise-wide capabilities, strengthen organizational performance, and help define the future of outcomes measurement and accountability. Your expertise will help ensure New Story continues to deliver measurable value for students, families, school districts, and communities.

We are committed to fostering a culture where leaders can grow, innovate, and make a lasting impact through data-driven decision-making and evidence-based practices.

  • 401(k) retirement savings with a 4% company match and immediate vesting

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Free Employee Assistance Program with confidential counseling, life coaching, and mental health resources
