Position: Phylogenetics QA Reviewer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $55–$80/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Review and quality-check challenging phylogenetics and evolutionary-biology problems.
• Verify correctness, scientific rigor, and clarity of data for AI model training and evaluation.
• Conduct multiple independent reviews to ensure accuracy and depth.
• Provide structured feedback to improve training data quality and model performance.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model outputs.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD or advanced degree in Evolutionary Biology, Phylogenetics, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or Ecology & Evolution.
• Strong reviewing / QA instincts.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
