Content Migration Specialist (3-Month Contract)

Fully Remote | Contract Opportunity

Are you highly detail-oriented with experience managing website content and working within CMS platforms? At VetPartners we’re looking for a Content Migration Specialist to support a large-scale website migration project across multiple clinic websites.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring content is accurately migrated, quality checked, and optimised while maintaining a seamless user experience and protecting SEO performance.

About the role

As a Content Migration Specialist, you will support the end-to-end migration of website content from legacy CMS platforms, such as WordPress, into a new CMS environment. Working closely with project stakeholders, you will ensure content is transferred accurately, consistently, and in line with established templates, processes, and quality standards.

This is a 3-month contract position that can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Migrate website content including pages, blogs, service information, and media assets
  • Follow established content mapping frameworks and migration templates
  • Ensure content formatting, links, images, and page structure are accurate and consistent
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on migrated content
  • Validate SEO metadata and identify any migration issues or defects
  • Create, update, and maintain content within the CMS
  • Upload and optimise images and other media assets
  • Collaborate with reviewers and project stakeholders to incorporate feedback
  • Maintain migration trackers and provide progress updates
  • Escalate risks, issues, and blockers as required
  • Follow documented processes and standard operating procedures

About you

You are organised, proactive, and thrive in a structured environment where accuracy matters. You enjoy working independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • 2–5 years' experience in digital content, website administration, or content management roles
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Payload CMS, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A basic understanding of website structure, formatting, and user experience principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
