Role - Java Developer with Appian & Cloudera Experience
Location: 100% Remote (USA
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in a fully remote role within the United States. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, experience working with Appian and Cloudera Hadoop platforms, and proficiency with SQL-based and big data technologies. Healthcare domain experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and consume RESTful web services and APIs.
Work with third-party platforms including Appian and Cloudera Hadoop.
Develop and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, HBase, and Hive.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and high-performance solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Java development (required).
3+ years of experience with Appian and Cloudera Hadoop.
3+ years of experience with databases including:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- HBase
- Hive
Hands-on experience building web services using Java/Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and API integrations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
