Proven experience as a Remedy Developer (4+ years) with hands-on experience.
Experience with Remedy integrations using REST, SOAP, and other relevant methods.
Proficient in writing PL SQL functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience working with Linux.
Comfortable writing shell scripts.
Experienced in Python scripting.
Experience with Oracle database.


Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Remedy Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and implementing Remedy solutions that meet business needs. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of Remedy best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement Remedy applications. For this environment, it will be working within a contact center environment where Remedy has been utilized and heavily customized.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Customize Remedy applications using scripting, workflows, and UI policies to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop integrations between Remedy and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, scripts, and middleware.
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the quality standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Remedy solutions, including design specs, workflows, and data models.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the Remedy platform.
  • Stay current with Remedy updates, new features, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficient in writing PL SQL functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working with Linux.
  • Comfortable writing shell scripts.
  • Experienced in Python scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle database.
  • Proven experience as a Remedy Developer (4+ years) with hands-on experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Remedy development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Web Services.
  • Experience with Remedy integrations using REST, SOAP, and other relevant methods.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies related to Remedy development.
  • Familiarity with Remedy upgrade process and the ability to handle post-upgrade issues.
  • Basic knowledge of database management and SQL for data queries
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience upgrading Remedy 20.x to Helix on-prem.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • AWS Experience
  • Helix Experience, not currently in this environment
