Datadog Architect – 100% Remote Location - Chicago, IL Duration – 12 months contract Start Date - ASAP Salary – DOE

As an APM architect, you will be required to provide and own technical oversight for all APM applications / tools within the group. You will be involved in designing and enhancing solutions, analysing deployment requirements, working with the team to implement and deploy solutions and platforms. Must be hands on with configurations. In-depth knowledge and experience working with datacentre, cloud and hybrid infrastructure is required. Must be familiar with Agile and Waterfall model
Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog).
Ability to assess and propose monitoring solutions for diverse application scope
Experience of Assessment (Preparation of assessment plan, questionnaire, capture findings and artifacts, present findings and solution) for monitoring tool implementation
Exposure to monitoring tool migration projects from one tool to another.
Exposure to both large and small deployments
Exposure to newer trends with AI and automated monitoring
Comfortable in defining and designing to stated NFRs
Working knowledge on dev ops, continuous deployment and monitoring
Integrated Service Environment including on premise, cloud and hybrid services.
Exposure to databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL)
Working knowledge of and exposure to Open Source tools and best practices
Familiarity with software architecture and design (front-end, middleware, backend, micro services etc.)
Enterprise architecture experience would be an added advantage
