SCOPE:

The Temporary Sourcing & Recruiting Coordinator (part-time) provides administrative and sourcing support to the Talent Acquisition team to help ensure a positive and efficient recruitment process. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging potential candidates, supporting recruiting operations and campaign efforts, coordinating interview logistics, and maintaining applicant tracking system data.

Working closely with recruiters and hiring managers, the coordinator will assist with candidate outreach, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and ensuring timely communication throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a temporary, part-time position designed to support recruiting efforts during periods of increased hiring activity, staffing transitions, or special talent acquisition projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and other recruiting channels.
  • Engage in social media and other channels to increase candidate flow through social media campaigns.
  • Conduct initial resume reviews against established job qualifications.
  • Assist with candidate outreach and scheduling of phone screens and interviews.
  • Coordinate interview logistics and communications with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data.
  • Support recruitment reporting and pipeline tracking.
  • Assist with reference checks, background check coordination, and other pre-employment activities as needed.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely and professional communication.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition function.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–3 years of recruiting coordination, sourcing, HR, or administrative experience.
  • Experience with working with HRIS systems like UKG or similar ATS platforms
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, or other sourcing tools preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience supporting nonprofit organizations is a plus.

SCHEDULE:

Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week, for a temporary assignment of approximately 3–6 months, with flexibility based on organizational needs.
