We’re looking for a Senior Implementation Specialist to support our growing Retention Strategy team. The Senior Implementation Specialist is responsible for executing and overseeing the technical implementation of retention marketing programs across client accounts. This role serves as the internal expert on Klaviyo, supporting account teams through advanced builds, migrations, integrations, QA, and platform best practices.

Working closely with Retention Strategists, this individual transforms strategy into execution by building and maintaining email, SMS, segmentation, automation, and onsite conversion experiences while helping establish scalable implementation standards across the department.

As a Senior Implementation Specialist, this role could include:

Klaviyo Implementation & Technical Execution

  • Build and maintain email campaigns, SMS campaigns, automated flows, and customer journeys within Klaviyo
  • Create and manage advanced segmentation, profile properties, and audience targeting strategies
  • Build, optimize, and troubleshoot signup forms, popups, and onsite conversion experiences
  • Configure and maintain flow triggers, custom events, and lifecycle automation programs
  • Support account audits, onboarding projects, and technical account setup
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Klaviyo functionality and best practices

Migrations & Integrations

  • Lead migrations from platforms such as Attentive, Mailchimp, Omnisend, HubSpot, and other ESPs
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot integrations with Shopify, Recharge, Yotpo, loyalty platforms, and other retention technology partners
  • Support advanced implementations involving custom properties, event tracking, and data mapping

Process, QA & Enablement

  • Adhere to SOPs, implementation standards, and QA processes
  • Perform technical QA across campaigns, flows, segments, forms, and integrations
  • Troubleshoot complex platform, data, and integration issues
  • Support internal training and serve as a technical resource for the retention team

Required Competencies

  • 3–6+ years of email, SMS, or lifecycle marketing experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Klaviyo Email and SMS
  • Experience building advanced flows, segments, forms, and automations
  • Experience with platform migrations and ecommerce integrations
  • Familiarity with custom events and data architecture
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and QA skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Competencies

  • Klaviyo certifications
  • K:Service experience
  • Shopify or Shopify Plus experience
  • Agency experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Experience with Recharge, Yotpo, Attentive, LoyaltyLion, ReferralCandy, or similar platforms
