Position: Consultant – Business Report Quality & Strategic Insights Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $175/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 month initially, with potential extension
Commitment: 40 hours during the first week, then 15 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Define standards for high-quality business reports and executive communications.
• Establish best practices for argument structure, evidence hierarchy, and storytelling.
• Develop evaluation rubrics to distinguish exceptional, average, and poor-quality outputs.
• Analyze business questions generated by AI systems and synthesize information into actionable recommendations.
• Produce decision-ready reports comparable to strategy consulting deliverables for executive leadership.
• Review AI-generated research and reporting workflows for consistency, accuracy, and executive readiness.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, LEK, Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, Kearney, EY-Parthenon, Roland Berger, or a comparable strategy consulting firm.
• Experience producing executive-facing presentations and reports.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and structured thinking skills.
• Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research into recommendations.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Availability to commit 40 hours during the first week and approximately 15 hours per week thereafter.

Preferred

• Experience in CPG, healthcare/pharma, financial services, retail, or consumer sectors.
• Experience presenting recommendations directly to senior executives.
• Experience evaluating analytical work products or mentoring junior consultants.
