Description

Finley Road Partners provides specialized administrative, human resources, staffing, and related employer services for a variety of clients. The Company specializes in event labor management. We’re the Employer-of-Choice for field technicians around the U.S. and Canada.

Job Summary: The Business Intelligence & Data Analyst will use labor and payroll data to identify inefficiencies, calculate the fiscal impact of technical solutions, and build executive dashboards that help the Product Ops Team prioritize key developments. This is a fully remote position.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Quantify the exact scale of operational bottlenecks (e.g., tracking total manual hours lost to redundant data reentry or evaluating regional operational performance).
  • Partner with business architects and system analysts to build predictive ROI and cost-savings models.
  • Develop and manage automated dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce) to monitor corporate KPIs, daily operations, and feature adoption.
  • Analyze labor, crewing, and client data to identify opportunities to improve operations, cut unnecessary costs, and more efficient utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Product Ops Team to ensure data pipelines are properly maintained, definitions are consistent, and system data accurately represents business activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or Operations Analyst in a highly quantitative corporate environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in writing clean, optimized SQL queries to extract data from complex relational databases.
  • Mastery of data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma) and strong Excel modeling skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect abstract business concepts (like scheduling delays or manual processing friction) to tangible data points and financial impacts.
  • Prior experience analyzing datasets tied to workforce management, workforce scheduling (e.g., ProCrewz), high-volume staffing, multi-state payroll, or live events labor tracking is highly desirable.
  • The ability to translate complex data schemas into clear insights for non-technical business leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Economics, or a related quantitative field.
