Job description

Position : Construction Project Administrator

Salary :  $1,000 - $1,500 AUD per month

Working Hours & Conditions : Australian Hours


OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly organized Construction Project Administrator to support our Australian project management team with project documentation, permit applications, council submissions, inspection coordination, and general administrative tasks. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare documentation for building permit applications and respond to RFIs.
  • Prepare documentation for occupancy permit applications.
  • Assist with applications to local councils and other authorities.
  • Prepare and lodge service connection applications (water, sewer, electricity, telecommunications, etc.).
  • Book and follow up required inspections.
  • File, organize, and maintain project plans, permits, drawings, and project documentation.
  • Track approvals, submissions, and outstanding actions.
  • Provide general administrative support to Project Managers. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, architecture, engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF editing software.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Australian construction, engineering, or property development projects.
  • Knowledge of building permits, occupancy permits, council approvals, and construction compliance processes.
