Job description

Contract Type : Maternity Cover

In the Account Manager – Veterinary Diagnostics role covering Silesia and part of Lódzkie, you will be on the front line building strong relationships with our veterinary clients to help sell IDEXX’s portfolio of diagnostic products and medical devices. In this field sales role, you will connect with customers through interactions to understand their business and provide knowledge and training on everything IDEXX can offer. You will leverage your consultative selling techniques to translate customer needs into diagnostic solutions that make use of IDEXX’s full suite of products and services. You will help veterinary clinics increase their diagnostic revenue and be seen as a high-value partner.

Communicating the true value of our products and services for the health and well-being of companion animals is at the core of IDEXX’s sales activity. Our sales professionals build meaningful relationships by providing solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.

In this role:

  • You will leverage your ability to independently manage your territory and customer base to increase recurring diagnostic revenue year over year and achieve quarterly medical equipment sales targets. By promoting the use of in-house diagnostic testing, medical consumables, reference laboratory services, and advanced diagnostics among your clients, you will also increase recurring income.

  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate and co-sell with other IDEXX sales professionals in the region to close deals for cutting-edge equipment and technology.

  • You will educate and train veterinary clinic staff on our products, services, and marketing initiatives, including how to engage customer support as an important part of their operations. To do this, you will stay continuously informed about IDEXX product and service innovations.

  • You will be responsible for communicating customer needs and competitive insights to IDEXX’s marketing organization and your business unit manager. You will also work with laboratory operations to ensure that any issues are handled effectively.

  • You will represent IDEXX’s values to our customers in a professional manner, demonstrating an understanding of the industry, veterinary practice, customers, technology, operations, and processes.

  • You will have the opportunity to participate in trade fairs and other regional events.

What do you need to succeed?

  • A relevant degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Several years of proven experience managing your own sales territory.

  • Experience gained in one or more of the following fields : Veterinary / animal health sector, Human healthcare medical devices, Dental devices.

  • High-value product sales

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a highly collaborative sales environment.

  • Willingness to meet the requirements of a field sales role, including frequent travel by car (company car provided), overnight stays, and occasional weekend work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Polish and English.
