QA Automation Engineer (f/m/x)

Role Intro
Deutsche Bank is renewing its workflow automation technology. dbFlow it’s a new platform aiming at simplifying business processes interactions and automation by using modern technologies specific to this domain. 
The core of the platform is managing all platform business processes and provides core functionalities, libraries, indexing, data enhancement and user interaction to onboarded use cases. The goal is to have high availability and high-performance platform infrastructure with focus on fast business adoption with low downtimes. Core technologies are Java, Camunda, Spring, Hibernate and Elasticsearch deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments and automated by E2E CI/CD pipelines. 
The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall Workflow platform including analysis, development, and administration. Work includes plan and develop engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, build reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering.

Responsibilities 
•    Contribute to the full set of test automation activities by assisting in the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated tests under the guidance of senior colleagues.
•    Support the team by participating in load and performance testing activities to ensure platform stability.
•    Collaborate with IT and Business teams to gather and understand testing requirements and assist in identifying areas for process improvement.
•    Provide input into project processes, including defect/change management, systems integration, and test planning.
•    Perform manual testing when required to support the rapid delivery and quality of new application functionalities.

Skills 
•    Good programming knowledge, preferably in Java, and a desire to learn modern frameworks like Spring and SpringBoot.
•    A strong interest in test automation and a willingness to learn tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, Rest Assured and CI/CD solutions.
•    Familiarity with backend testing concepts (e.g., API Testing with Postman) and an understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
•    A good theoretical understanding of the software testing lifecycle, including test planning, case/script creation, and execution strategy.
•    Curiosity and a proactive attitude toward learning about integration, regression testing, and coordinating with support systems.
