CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a part-time Engineering Technician to join our Bridge Team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of field data that informs the design, maintenance, and safety of bridge structures. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects from day one.

What You'll Do::
  • Support the review, tracking, and analysis of field-collected data for bridge-related projects
  • Assist in testing and evaluating materials, equipment, and system performance to ensure quality and reliability
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain detailed project records and documentation
  • Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in data and help maintain organized databases for reporting to clients
What You Bring::
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience required; prior field exposure or relevant coursework preferred
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and formulas
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Exposure to tools such as GIS software, AutoCAD, or Revit is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to various physical work environments
  • Valid driver’s license required

Salary Range::

$27.00 - $32.00

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
