Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking a full time (37.5 hours) mission-minded Fiscal Grant Manager. This position is remote within the state of Ohio. Will require occasional health center visits within the affiliate.
Position Summary
The Fiscal Grant Managerβs primary focus is tracking and reconciling grant expenditures while supporting all aspects of general ledger activity and fixed asset tracking. This role assists the Senior Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer with financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting functions, including revenue and expenditure processing, ledger maintenance, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Duties and Responsibilities
Grant and Budget Management
Prepare, track, and reconcile grant budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding requirements.
Monitor grant expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and reporting standards.
General Ledger and Reconciliations
Perform and post journal entries, including monthly reconciliations for accounts such as accounts receivable, postage, copiers, physician hours, petty cash, and other assigned accounts.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations as needed.
Supervise and or process monthly inventory utilization postings and inventory reconciliations.
Reconcile and audit petty cash.
Monitor and reconcile affiliate investment accounts.
Fixed Assets and Compliance Reporting
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset listing.
Lead the preparation and filing of Form 990, AAFR, QAFR, 401K audit documentation and required PPFA and other regulatory reports.
Prepare requested financial documentation and assist with the annual agency audit and accreditation visits.
Financial Analysis and Departmental Support
Assist the CFO with accumulation of financial data, analysis, reporting, and budget preparation.
Document and maintain departmental accounting policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and GAAP compliance.
Demonstrated experience in grant tracking and budget reconciliation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in nonprofit or healthcare accounting.
Experience with audit preparation and regulatory reporting.
Education and Experience
Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of four years of related accounting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Work is primarily performed in a remote, home-office based environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing, computer use, screen time, and attendance at in-person and/or virtual meetings, trainings, and events. The role requires regular and timely attendance at virtual and in-person meetings, trainings, and/or events, reliable internet access, maintenance of a private and secure workspace, and compliance with confidentiality and data-security requirements. Work involves frequent collaboration with colleagues through scheduled and unscheduled virtual meetings and communication tools. Occasional travel to organizational worksites and sites operated by third-parties will be required for meetings, training, or operational needs.
