Description
Retirement Plan Termination Analyst Location: Remote (Must reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, , TX, or UT)
 
About the Role We are seeking a Retirement Plan Termination Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in navigating Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations related to retirement plan terminations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and experienced in retirement plan administration.
 
Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Establish and coordinate plan termination dates. Update and maintain plan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Stay current on all laws, regulations, and best practices in retirement plan administration. Provide training, guidance, and resources on retirement plan products and services to internal teams.
 
Desired Skills and Experience ASPPA credentials preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Advanced knowledge of retirement plan administration, DOL/IRS regulations, and tax rules. Exceptional customer service and client management skills. Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SRT systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
