Client: BSNF
Role: C++ Embedded Systems Developer
Duration: Full Time Permanent

This position will require frequent (25%+) travel to Topeka, KS.
o 2 out of the first 4 weeks will need to be in Topeka (not consecutive weeks)
o Subsequent months will require 1 week+ onsite in Topeka, KS (maybe 1 week per month or more, as needed)
o Preference is given to candidates in DFW or Topeka/Kansas City areas
o Open to remote locations for the right candidate
Project Description:
o BNSF is expanding its suite of track assessment technologies. We are seeking an experienced candidate to assist in the development and implementation of solutions aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of our 24/7 railroad network. Our company is looking to integrate the latest sensors and embedded edge processing techniques to produce reliable, high-precision track assessment systems.
Requirements:
o Embedded systems development and deployment
o C and C++ embedded programming experience
o Real-time data acquisition from sensors/instrumentation
o Real-time data processing
o Linux/Unix systems
o Technical algorithm development
Nice to have:
o Electrical engineering experience
o Digital signal processing
o Python programming
