For our Lugano office, we are seeking talented and experienced Senior Engineers with strong hands-on expertise with .NET/C# and Microservices to join our team and contribute to exciting and impactful international projects in the Banking/Financial Services sector.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations with external systems, third-party platforms, and web-based APIs to enable seamless data exchange
  • Develop and enhance backend services and RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and high performance, while applying best practices such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and SOLID principles to deliver maintainable, high-quality solutions
  • Evolve existing application domains by implementing new features and improving service capabilities in line with changing business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions and maintain clear documentation, including architecture designs and integration specifications

Qualifications and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in computer science or engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience with .NET, and .NET Core
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture, as well as familiarity with tools like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka
  • Solid hands-on experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server 
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jira, Git, Github
  • Strong focus on applying Secure Development Best Practices to ensure code security
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology is highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Italian and English is mandatory
Location Requirement
  • We do not offer a fully remote work policy
  • Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese etc.)
  • Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
