Ameresco is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality programs on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), or General Services Administration (GSA) federal projects. This position will be based at a project in Fort Irwin, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the project Quality Control (QC) Plan per contract requirements

  • Execute the Three-Phases of Quality Control

  • Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate required testing

  • Coordinate with Superintendents, SSHOs, and subcontractors on new Definable Features of Work (DFOW)

  • Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation

  • Track and resolve deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections

  • Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional construction experience

  • Minimum 1 year serving as a QCM on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects

  • Ability to review confidential US security information

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing a three-phase Quality Control (QC) plan

  • Strong knowledge of UFGS specifications, quality control plans, and federal construction requirements

  • Must be proficient with USACE RMS, NAVFAC QCS, or similar reporting software

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and able to use independently.

  • Must use BlueBeam Revu or similar and know how to manipulate PDF documents and drawings.

  • Must type at greater than 40 WPM

  • Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $101,000–$146,000 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role. Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements.
