Job description

As the Producer Compensation Analyst, you will primarily be responsible of assisting the Manager in calculating commissions, true-ups and bonuses for the producers. You will also be responsible to track and maintain broker agreements throughout the year. You will be the liaison between the finance & accounting team and producers regarding the quick resolution of all commission issues and escalate as necessary.

Your Impact:

  • Maintain details of all Producer/Broker compensation arrangements
  • Maintain Compensation payment calendar with outside offices – ensuring all needed documents are received before deadline.
  • Update Producer/Broker general information in systems as needed – working with operations to ensure accurate producer default rates are entered.
  • Assist with the process of calculating and paying all Producers/Brokers accurately and timely including calculating individual true-ups and bonuses for those in accordance with employee agreements
  • Assist with the calculation and correction of the House account commissions in February & August
  • Assist with the midyear Draw evaluation and provide the Manager results and recommendations
  • Regular review of data to identify errors, etc. especially for correct sales compensation reporting
  • Support Manager with in-depth compensation and Producer analysis requests
  • Liaise with other Corporate teams and departments (e.g. Corporate Accounting and Human Resources) as needed

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting preferred
  • Insurance Brokerage or Insurance/Financial Services experience highly preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in finance or accounting including experience within: working with large data sets, creation of excel templates, automation skills, and strong time management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, analyze data, and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Excel and Power BI
  • Exposure to Sales Compensation plans

Pay Range:

$51,800.00 - $74,000.00 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
