Position: Electrical Engineering Expert - Visual Reasoning Benchmark
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$85/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Source genuine professional artifacts such as circuit schematics, PCB layouts, block diagrams, timing diagrams, and control systems.
• Write problems that require reasoning beyond text alone, ensuring they test structural, spatial, and multi-step reasoning.
• Determine concise and unambiguous final answers and provide step-by-step worked solutions at a professional level.
• Tag each problem with its domain, artifact type, skill tested, and difficulty for clarity and organization.
• Ensure each problem is independently reviewed by another domain expert before release.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to the Industrial Technical Visual Reasoning Benchmark.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience reading real electrical engineering artifacts.
• Ability to author benchmark problems in Electrical Engineering.
