Definian is hiring experienced Workday consultants to join our growing Workday practice. This role is designed for problem solvers who want to work at the intersection of data, technology, and consulting.

In this role, you’ll work directly with clients and project teams to understand business requirements, design and test technical solutions, and deliver meaningful business outcomes. You’ll learn core skills in AI, SQL, Python, data transformation, and Workday products, while building consulting capabilities that set the foundation for long-term growth.

What You Will Do

  • Designing and developing custom data solutions for clients using a variety of software and programming tools, including Definian’s Data Platform software, SQL, Python, and others
  • Using quantitative methods to derive actionable insights, patterns, and outcomes from data
  • Taking direct ownership of mission critical data requirements in a fast paced, collaborative work environment
  • Leveraging technical expertise to provide guidance and direction to clients as you tackle complex problems
  • Identifying and translating client business requirements into technical deliverables
  • Delivering technology solutions to clients across industries, such as Manufacturing & Distribution, Education & Government, Consumer & Industrial Products, and Life Sciences & Healthcare
  • Working with clients to understand their current data landscape and advising on strategy to align with their future-state data landscape
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Note: The responsibilities for this position could expand to include other duties based on the needs of the company and the skills of the candidate.

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • At least 3 years of experience in a data or consulting role working on Workday implementation projects preferred
  • At least 1 year prior experience working directly with structured data (analyzing, organizing, reporting, etc.)
  • BS/BA degree
  • Intermediate experience with a programming or scripting language
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An inquisitive nature and desire to learn

**Compensation:** Annual base salary: $95,000 - $135,000, with eligibility for performance-based annual bonus (total compensation range: $97,000 - $158,000).
