Job description

WeSoftYou is an Inc. 5000 US-based product development company delivering software for venture-backed startups and enterprise organizations.
WeSoftYou creates web and mobile solutions and custom B2B and B2C applications for various industries and business areas, including Healthcare, e-Learning, Retail, Web3, Fintech, and AdTech.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Junior+/Middle Manual QA engineer who will be part of our great team!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end manual testing across the full product lifecycle, including development, validation, and release phases;

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios for functional, regression, and integration testing β€” with a focus on payment flows, transaction states, and financial correctness;

  • Take full ownership of the QA process, ensuring consistent product quality across all releases

  • Independently validate and approve releases, ensuring platform stability and readiness for deployment;

  • Validate financial operations end-to-end: deposits (PUSH / ACH / wire / Fedwire), withdrawals, and crypto deposits to wallet addresses β€” verifying amounts, fees, currency/asset types, rounding, and balance reconciliation after each operation;

  • Test negative and edge cases critical to financial products: insufficient funds, duplicate/idempotent requests, transaction limits, rejected/failed payments, and partial states;

  • Identify, document, and track defects, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution;

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, payment business logic, and improve product quality;

  • Continuously enhance QA processes, methodologies, and documentation standards;

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives;

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer;

  • Strong hands-on experience working across the full product lifecycle in Agile environments;

  • Solid expertise in manual testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing;

  • Good understanding of QA methodologies and test automation principles;

  • Proven ability to take ownership of testing processes and make release decisions independently;

  • Experience with test documentation: test cases, checklists, and bug reports;

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams;

  • Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher level of English;

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in payments or fintech domain, with an understanding of money-movement flows;

  • Familiarity with counterparties, payment references, and balance types (current vs. available), as well as transaction status/state transitions;

  • Practical knowledge of testing financial correctness: amounts, fees, currency and asset types, rounding logic, and balance reconciliation;

What we offer:

πŸ“ˆ Professional Growth opportunities:

  • Ambitious goals and interesting projects;

  • Regular & transparent performance review and feedback process;

  • Possibility for both vertical or horizontal growth (in case you want to try a different path).

😌 Comfortable Working conditions

  • Flexible working hours;

  • Provision of required equipment;

  • Remote working model.

🎁 Benefits program

  • 18 paid days off + 2 public holidays;

  • Free tax reporting support by our Financial department;

  • Help with individual entrepreneurs’ questions and accounting support;

  • Financial support and additional days off for various occasions (e.g. marriage, childbirth, etc.);
