Backend Engineer (Golang)

We're looking for a Backend Engineer with strong Golang experience for an 18–24 month contract at a marketplace company in Vilnius. The role focuses on building and migrating a SaaS product.
Lithuanian language skills are a plus.

Role Overview:
We are looking for Backend Engineers with strong Golang experience to support the development and migration of a SaaS product in the marketplace sector. The role involves building scalable backend services, supporting migration activities, and collaborating closely with the team in a flexible project setup. Occasional on-site work in Vilnius may be expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang

• Support migration activities for a growing SaaS product

• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and deliver technical requirements

• Contribute to a flexible delivery setup as project needs evolve

• Participate in technical discussions and interviews where needed to ensure strong team fit

Must-Have Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Golang backend development

• Experience working on SaaS products or scalable backend systems

• Ability to work flexibly in a changing project environment

• Availability for occasional on-site work in Vilnius

• Lithuanian language skills preferred
