Job description

Our journey

We’ve signed up for an ambitious journey. As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities. This isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen: our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused, and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star—the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began — our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better together.

The Role

As a Payment Implementation Specialist, you will own the commercial and operational launch of our cashless payment solutions in new partner cities. You will manage the entire implementation lifecycle, from the contract signing with our acquirers (Elavon/Payone) to the successful go-live of our services.

In this crucial role, you will act as the central commercial liaison between our city partners, technical providers, and internal teams. Your primary focus will be on project management, partner relationships, and process coordination to guarantee a seamless rollout and the long-term success of our payment systems.

What you'll do

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation project for new payment solutions, ensuring a smooth and timely rollout for our city partners.

  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for cities, parking operators, and payment partners (acquirers) throughout the entire implementation journey.

  • Steer the relationship and deliverables with our external service providers, including our acquiring partners, to ensure seamless collaboration.

  • Ensure a successful go-live by coordinating final acceptance testing and managing the transition to our operational teams.

  • Coordinate with internal and external technical experts to troubleshoot implementation roadblocks and ensure operational readiness.

  • Contribute to the evolution and optimization of implementation processes as the function continues to scale.

  • Manage a portfolio of multiple concurrent implementations across Germany and Europe.

  • Coordinate and finalize contractual agreements and support commercial negotiations within predefined pricing frameworks.

What you'll bring

You are a master of organization with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for the payments industry. You think in processes and know how to manage projects from start to finish. You are as skilled at communicating with clients and technical partners as you are at analyzing complex problems. You enjoy working independently but also thrive in a team environment to find the best solutions for our partners.

  • Proven experience in the e-payment ecosystem, ideally in a role such as Payment Operations, Technical Account Management, or Implementation Management.

  • In-depth knowledge of acquirer management, with a strong preference for experience with Payone and Elavon.

  • Experience leading technical rollouts or IT projects.

  • Strong understanding of the technical and business aspects of payment systems (APIs, terminals, settlement).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely.

  • You must be fluent in both German C1/Native and English C1 is required.

Location: Remote, Germany
