Workplace INTEGRA offers comprehensive occupational conservation services to companies with excessive noise levels in their workplace environments. We work with companies of various sizes and industries to deliver solutions that prevent hearing loss and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. We supply all software and services to launch and/or maintain hearing conservation programs.

 

Workplace INTEGRA is looking for a part-time Mobile Hearing Technician.  As a Mobile Hearing Technician (Screener - Mobile Tech) at Workplace INTEGRA, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety by conducting on-site OSHA-required audiometric hearing tests and exams. You’ll travel to different work sites in a 26’ Box Truck, working independently and providing essential services to prevent hearing loss.

 

This is a great opportunity for retired Military, Law Enforcement, or healthcare professionals who enjoy working independently and traveling. Comprehensive training is provided, including the CAOHC course in Occupational Hearing Conservation. Schedule:This is a part-time, on-call role requiring flexibility and reliability. Availability for day, evening, and overnight shifts is needed based on business demands. Hours will vary—some weeks may have no scheduled work, while others may exceed 40 hours depending on operational needs.

 

Compensation: $25.00 per hour + expenses. 

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain CAOHC certification.
  • Travel to clients to perform audio testing. 
  • Communicate with clients prior to the job via email or telephone.
  • Travel to offsite remote locations that may require overnight stays of multiple nights.
  • Make travel arrangements prior to leaving for the jobsite.
  • Maintain the mobile van with supplies.
  • Load databases for your current client into laptop
  • Perform audiometer and booth calibrations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the mobile van before and after testing.
  • Use Electronic DOT.
  • Conduct hearing testing and examination.
  • Assist supervisor with assigned tasks.
  • All other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Accurate typing and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good troubleshooting and support skills for computer hardware and other equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CAOHC certification a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Travel:

  • This position is subject up to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts with significant overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of driving
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
