We are a 501(c)(3) and must file an IRS Form 990 annually.
Overview:JerseySTEM is at an exciting inflection point: our programs and donor base are growing, and we’re ready to invest in a proper financial foundation. We’re looking for a Treasurer and Bookkeeper volunteer to build that foundation from the ground up — setting up QuickBooks, establishing a budget process, and ensuring we’re filing on time every year. This is a high-impact, strategic volunteer role for someone who wants to leave a lasting mark on a growing nonprofit.

Your work is the financial backbone that lets JerseySTEM make and keep commitments to 20+ schools. Clean books, an on-time 990, and a sound budget mean the organization can grow its programs with confidence. That translates directly to more New Jersey students in STEM classrooms.
