Job description

About Hubstaff & The Opportunity

At Hubstaff, we help more than 140,000 global users improve productivity through workforce analytics, time tracking, and workforce management software. Our platform helps businesses track time, gain visibility into work, manage schedules, and automate payments with transparency and accountability at its core. We've been fully remote for over a decade and are building the tools that power the future of distributed work.

We're now investing heavily in AI, automation, and signal-driven go-to-market systems to accelerate growth beyond our traditional inbound motion.

This is a rare opportunity to become Hubstaff's first GTM Automation Engineer and build this function from the ground up.

Working closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success, you'll design the automation, AI workflows, and GTM systems that power outbound growth, account-based marketing, and revenue generation.

If you enjoy building from scratch, experimenting with emerging AI technologies, and creating measurable business impact, you'll have the opportunity to shape both our growth strategy and the future of this function at Hubstaff.

What You'll Do

Build and Scale Signal-Based GTM Systems

  • Design and operationalize workflows that transform product usage, intent, hiring, firmographic, and behavioral signals into automated sales and marketing actions

  • Build repeatable systems that identify, prioritize, and engage target accounts at the right time

  • Create scalable triggers that improve targeting, personalization, and pipeline generation

Own Outbound and Account-Based Infrastructure

  • Build account identification, enrichment, scoring, segmentation, and orchestration systems

  • Improve outbound efficiency through automation, data enrichment, and intelligent targeting

  • Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to create scalable, always-on outbound motions

Design AI-Powered Automation Workflows

  • Build AI-assisted workflows for account research, prioritization, enrichment, routing, and personalization

  • Leverage tools such as Claude Code, AI Studio, ChatGPT, and emerging agent frameworks to increase GTM efficiency and effectiveness

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve automation, targeting, and revenue generation

Drive GTM Experimentation

  • Rapidly test new ICPs, messaging strategies, engagement channels, and orchestration models

  • Launch experiments, measure outcomes, and iterate based on performance

  • Help shape Hubstaff's long-term approach to AI-powered go-to-market execution

  • Experience with AI-assisted workflows, automation platforms, and agent-based systems

  • Experience with outbound, ABM, demand generation, or revenue growth motions

  • Ability to connect APIs, systems, and data sources using low-code, no-code, or light-code solutions

  • Strong systems-thinking mindset and ability to work across Marketing, Sales, Success, Product, and Data teams
