Field Machinery Maintenance Specialist - Saudi Nationals Only

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Machinery Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent, remote basis, with a focus on operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is exclusively for Saudi Nationals. This role is crucial for executing and overseeing the overhaul of various turbomachinery equipment (Steam turbines, centrifugal compressors and pumps) during planned turnarounds and outages.

The successful candidate will ensure all maintenance and repair activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This remote position requires a professional who can effectively supervise on-site contractors and manage complex projects, while being available for necessary site visits.

Job Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Machinery Specialist will be expected to perform the following core duties:

• Turbomachinery Overhaul: Participate in and support the full overhaul and maintenance of a diverse range of turbomachinery equipment (e.g., turbines, compressors, pumps) during critical plant turnarounds and outages.

• Contractor Supervision Support: Provide assistance and support in the supervision of third-party contractors and maintenance personnel, helping to ensure all work adheres to scope, technical specifications, and project timelines.

• Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect repair and maintenance activities to guarantee work quality, compliance with industry best practices, and adherence to company standards.

• Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures for all on-site work, ensuring a safe working environment and full compliance with local regulations.

• Technical Reporting: Document all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities, preparing detailed technical reports, findings, and recommendations for future maintenance strategies.

• Remote Management: Effectively manage and monitor on-site activities and communications remotely, utilizing modern communication and project management tools.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• Nationality Requirement: Must be a Saudi National.

• Educational Background: A Diploma or Vocational Training Certificate in a Mechanical discipline (e.g., Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent) is required.

• Experience & Aptitude:

  • We will consider Fresh Graduates who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and have completed relevant internships or have some foundational experience in industrial maintenance or machinery.

  • Candidates with prior experience (1-3 years) in the maintenance, overhaul, or repair of turbomachinery equipment are highly encouraged to apply.

• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of mechanical principles, fault diagnostics, and maintenance practices related to rotating equipment.

• Supervisory Potential: An ability and willingness to learn how to effectively supervise and manage contractors and maintenance teams.

• Safety Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety standards and a commitment to safe work practices.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for contractor liaison, reporting, and remote management.

• Location/Travel: Although primarily remote, the candidate must be based in Saudi Arabia (preferably Dammam area) and be willing to travel to site locations as required for turnarounds, outages, and critical inspection points.
