  • Navigate local zoning laws and building codes; manage the permitting process with municipal and state agencies.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets; manage sub-contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Design or review structural calculations for specialized equipment housing (e.g., pads for cooling units, heavy electrical infrastructure).
  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • License is strongly preferred (or the ability to obtain one within 6 months).
  • 5–8 years of experience in land development, industrial construction, or data center infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar BIM software.
  • Strong understanding of hydrology, soil mechanics, and reinforced concrete design.

Bonus points

  • Familiarity with critical infrastructure requirements (Power, Cooling, and Fiber connectivity).
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and government officials.

Benefits

  • Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)

  • Team on-sites where all offices come in–person to collaborate

Who we hire
