Job description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

They provide employee support services, organizational consulting, wellness solutions, and technology-enabled resources to help organizations improve employee wellbeing and performance. As the company continues to embrace AI across multiple departments, they are seeking an experienced AI Automation Specialist to help identify inefficiencies, automate workflows, and drive strategic AI adoption throughout the organization.

 

Role Overview

The AI Automation Specialist will work directly with department leaders across Operations, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Leadership to identify manual processes, streamline workflows, and implement AI-powered solutions. This role bridges business process improvement and technical execution, requiring deep fluency in modern AI tools, automation platforms, and connected business systems. The AI Automation Specialist will serve as the organization's internal AI and automation expert, helping teams leverage Claude, workflow automation platforms, and integrated business systems to reduce manual work, improve reporting, and increase operational efficiency.

Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9AM - 5PM EST

 

Key Responsibilities

AI & Process Optimization

  • Meet with department leaders to understand current workflows, challenges, and opportunities for automation.

  • Analyze existing business processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and repetitive manual tasks.

  • Recommend and implement AI-powered solutions that improve productivity and operational effectiveness.

  • Create repeatable AI workflows that can be leveraged across multiple departments.

 

Claude & AI Enablement

  • Design, build, and maintain Claude Projects tailored to department-specific needs.

  • Develop AI-assisted workflows, prompts, templates, and knowledge systems.

  • Help teams leverage Claude more effectively for reporting, analysis, documentation, content generation, and decision-making.

  • Train and support employees on AI best practices and workflow adoption.

 

Reporting & Analytics Automation

  • Identify reporting processes currently requiring manual intervention and automate where possible.

  • Streamline data collection, analysis, and report generation workflows.

  • Build automated reporting solutions that reduce reliance on spreadsheets and repetitive manual tasks.

  • Create dashboards and reporting systems that provide leadership with timely business insights.

 

Workflow Automation & Systems Integration

  • Design and implement automations using tools such as Zapier, Make.com, n8n, and related platforms.

  • Connect business systems and applications to improve data flow and eliminate duplicate work.

  • Develop workflows that integrate across Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, financial systems, and other internal platforms.

  • Monitor and maintain automation performance while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Configure and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections between Claude and business systems to enable seamless access to data, tools, and workflows.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage MCP integrations to expand Claude's functionality across departments and business processes.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams.

  • Gather requirements, prioritize projects, and communicate automation opportunities.

  • Document processes, workflows, and automation solutions for long-term scalability.

  • Act as an internal consultant helping departments maximize AI and automation capabilities.

 

Qualifications β€” Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in business process automation, operations, systems management, business analysis, AI implementation, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered workflows within a business environment.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications β€” Skills

  • Deep understanding of Claude including Projects, Artifacts, prompting, workflows, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections.

  • Hands-on experience building automations using Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or similar automation platforms.

  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

  • Ability to map business processes and translate requirements into automation solutions.

  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience configuring and managing MCP connections within Claude and integrating Claude with external systems, business applications, and data sources.

  • Business-minded problem solver who can independently identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and drives them through to completion.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
