Your role at MOIA

  • Act as an internal/external medium: Serve as the primary liaison between MOIA’s internal practices and external SDOs. Actively work to consolidate internal consensus and assess how MOIA’s practices align with or differ from external ones.
  • Run internal training. Develop and implement internal training programs that align engineering, product, and cross-functional teams with external standardization landscapes, compliance goals, and MOIA’s internal policies.
  • Shape the industry by strategically prioritizing MOIA’s participation in working groups to contribute to shaping consensus and advancing safety across space while retaining the necessary optionality.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Collaborate closely with the Safety Management and Safety teams, as well as the legal and regulatory groups and engineering, to establish appropriate platforms for critiquing perspectives and consolidating a consistent position on topics of interest.

What will help you to fulfill your role

  • Several years of experience in automotive regulatory compliance or product compliance in a highly regulated industry, ideally in the autonomous vehicle industry with motivation to expand
  • Strong knowledge of EU and US regulations for automated driving systems
  • Solid understanding of type approval processes and homologation frameworks
  • Extensive experience in business process modeling with respective tool support, e.g., Signavio
  • Ability to read, interpret, and operationalize regulatory standards and technical specifications
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in making clear and firm governance decisions
  • Proven ability to balance regulatory rigor with pragmatic, scalable engineering and management processes
  • Business fluent English and German skills

What we offer

  • A senior expert role with high strategic impact on MOIA’s regulatory readiness
  • Direct ownership of compliance governance for EU and US deployments
  • Work at the intersection of technology, regulation, and real‑world deployment
  • A collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with strong ownership culture
