Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and is responsible for retaining client revenue, driving revenue growth, and maximizing profitability of their book of business. Serves as a liaison between our clients and internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of Asurint services; connects with key business executives to solve their business issues, generates new revenue opportunities, develops long-term profitable relationships, and manages a pipeline of new revenue opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Develops a precise and thorough account plan, detailing specific and relevant information about all aspects of assigned accounts with the end goal of retaining and growing assigned client base.  
  • Analyzes industry trends and identifies white-space opportunities to present solutions to clients to enhance their current background screening program and generate new business.
  • Monitors and analyzes service levels on assigned account base to ensure on-time delivery; works cross-functionally to maintain SLA’s and client satisfaction.
  • Manages portfolio of a large book of ClientSets, tracks and exceeds sales targets, aligns with company objectives through Asurint’s defined sales cycle.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Asurint’s products, services, processes and procedures to effectively communicate Asurint’s advantage to our clients and creates alignment between our clients and our internal teams.
  • Collaborates with the Sales and Operations teams to onboard and integrate new clients; presents solutions to ensure a timely implementation completion.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge base of client programs, processes, procedures, pricing, packages, etc.
  • Prepares and presents business reviews to assigned client base on a semiannual and/or annual basis.
  • Establishes Asurint as a strategic partner to our clients and key stakeholders, while delivering customer and industry intelligence to drive retention and revenue growth.
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of the client market and their industries.
  • Identifies risks and presents developed solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and reports on account health; works proactively to ensure superior client satisfaction.
  • Drives solutions within the multifunctional teams.
  • Travels to client locations to resolve issues; collaborates on new opportunities and solutions.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a software or BPO account management environment is preferred.
  • Experience managing $3,000,000 or more in client revenue is preferred.
  • Experience presenting to audiences both in-person and virtually is preferred.
  • Experience handling objections and demonstrating negotiation skills is preferred.
  • Experience working with Information Technology development is preferred.
  • Experience working in sales to onboard, retain and generate new business opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
  • Experience with background screening is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred. Salesforce is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.  
  • Certifications or licensure: If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
  • Years of relevant experience: 2 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising: None.


Working Conditions


  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
  • This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
  • Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
  • In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.   
  • In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes. 
  • The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings. 
  • Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license may be required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
