Job description

TL;DR: Strala is an AI-native Third-Party Administrator (TPA) purpose-built for P&C claims. Our platform eliminates repetitive manual work, improves consistency, and generates structured claims data that feeds directly into underwriting and operational strategy. We are a team of insurance experts and AI engineers.

Background: Our AI-powered automation is already helping leading global insurers operate more efficiently across multiple lines of business - reducing friction, accelerating workflows, and improving outcomes. In under a year, we’ve scaled to multi-seven-figure ARR with ~50% month-over-month growth. We’ve raised two rounds from top-tier investors, including early partners behind companies like OpenAI, Cognition, and Ramp - giving us the capital, backing, and momentum to build a category-defining platform in insurance.

Role Description: As a member of Strala's Claims team, you'll report to and work alongside the VP of Claims to deliver world-class service to our clients. You'll work remotely in a fast-paced, high-growth environment to investigate auto bodily injury claims, evaluate damages and exposure, negotiate settlements, and drive fair, timely resolutions.

Strala's mission is to eliminate non-value-added, repetitive work so adjusters can focus on what matters most—applying their professional judgment to deliver the best possible claims experience. You'll have the support of a collaborative team and ongoing coaching as we scale our capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience handling auto BI claims (first-party and third-party)

  • Active Adjuster License

  • Familiar with demand evaluation, attorney negotiation, and reserve setting

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

  • Collaborative, curious, and comfortable with change
