The Role:
As an Account Manager, you will take on a hybrid role, balancing the growth of new business opportunities with the expansion and development of existing accounts.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own a big part of the sales strategy and its execution in tandem with other departments (Delivery & Technology). You will directly contribute to our revenue growth, build strong sales processes, oversee pipelines from qualification to close and manage day-to-day sales operations.

What success looks like in this role:

  • You are consistently overachieving the company’s revenue targets

  • You’ve familiarized yourself with the business model and developed the ability to confidently speak about data and analytics with prospective clients

  • You are an overall positive influence within the team

  • You take proactive leadership of your territory by understanding the market and developing and executing on a strategy that fits

  • You work with colleagues to successfully identify opportunities for renewals and upsells with existing clients

  • You maintain CRM/sales tool with up-to-date information

  • You work with the team to create strong sales collateral

  • You are self-directed and you have the ability to manage simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of insurance enterprise (IT) sales or consulting experience in a fast-paced client facing and results oriented environment.

  • A clear understanding of how insurance organisations make decisions related to data, analytics, and AI, & how to influence them, with a proven pedigree in helping a business deliver significant growth

  • Ability to be a thought leader and thought partner to our clients, discussing the latest trends in data, analytics, and AI related to insurance

  • Ability to communicate and influence all levels of stakeholders across functions (especially tech, engineering, data science, sales, marketing and finance)

  • Ability to lead and motivate others

  • You have a consultative ‘listen-first’ approach and understand what motivates people & tailor your messaging accordingly.

  • Exceptional people skills, builds rapport easily.
