Everything You Need To Know

Are you a Mechanical Engineer or Technician looking for specialist training, career progression, and premium overtime rates? No water industry experience? No problem.

Our treatment works operate as complex process plants, just like those in manufacturing, energy, or other industrial sectors. If you’ve worked with process control systems and have a working knowledge of industrial mechanical installation requirements and standards, your skills will transfer seamlessly.

You’ll also get specialist training, work with advanced mechanical systems, and help prevent issues before they happen—keeping communities and rivers safe.

This isn’t just a job - it’s a place to grow and build a career while making a real difference to the environment. You’ll also be part of a close-knit local team - a work family - where you can build friendships, enjoy a laugh, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

If you’re passionate about electrical engineering and want to join a nationally renowned business with ambitious goals, Severn Trent is where your skills - and your career - will thrive.
