At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) dedicated to delivering life-changing therapies to patients worldwide. We are seeking a Specialist, Budgeting and Analysis to join our MedCom team in Argentina. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting a broad variety of projects providing the communication of scientific, medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology information and data to various audiences. 

Through collaboration and cross-functional engagement, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage financial setup and day-to-day financial oversight of assigned projects
  • Develop and review internal and client budgets, including updates and changes in scope
  • Analyze revenue, forecasting, profitability, and financial performance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including project teams, finance, and contracts
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including revenue recognition and new business tracking
  • Facilitate pricing discussions and provide financial guidance to internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with financial processes, SOPs, and contractual requirements

Additional details:

  • Participate in budget development discussions and pricing strategy initiatives
  • Support client and supplier financial interactions as needed
  • Assist with Statement of Work (SOW) preparation and contracting processes
  • Contribute to best practice and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain financial tracking tools, templates, and reporting systems
  • Utilize systems such as SharePoint, OSB, OPF, PRISM, and other financial tools

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Advanced understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes
  • Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or similar role
  • Experience supporting project financial management and reporting
  • Fluency in English

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, Accounting or related field preferred)
  • Master’s degree is an asset
