SAP SD Contractor

This role supports SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) design, configuration, and delivery across Order-to-Cash processes in SAP S/4HANA, including SAP Private Cloud environments. Works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to support pricing, delivery, billing, and revenue processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and solution design across Order-to-Cash (OTC), including pricing, ATP, credit management, delivery, shipping, billing, and returns.
• Configure SAP SD and related components (MM, FI/CO, GTS, TM/LE as needed); document functional specs and support ABAP development for RICEFW objects.
• Support SD process enablement in SAP Private Cloud (RISE or HEC), including transports, release practices, and system performance considerations.
• Assist with data readiness (customers, pricing, conditions, output) and testing (SIT, UAT, regression); prepare documentation and support cutover activities.
• Coordinate with teams on security/roles, integrations (EDI/API/IDoc), and compliance requirements.
• Resolve incidents, monitor performance, and support ongoing system improvements.
• Apply standard SAP practices to support consistent and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of hands-on SAP SD configuration and solution design, including pricing, delivery, billing, and returns/credit processes.
• Experience working in SAP Private Cloud environments (RISE with SAP or HEC), including transports and system operations.
• SAP certifications in SD/S/4HANA (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sales or equivalent).
• Experience supporting full lifecycle implementations and enhancements in production environments.
• Knowledge of integration with MM and FI/CO (pricing, tax, credit management, logistics execution).
• Experience writing functional specifications and working with developers on IDocs, BAPIs, user exits, BAdIs, and output management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, or retail.
• Localization experience (tax, e-invoicing, statutory reporting).
• Experience with SAP Settlement Management or legacy SD Rebates.
• Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migrations (any approach).
• Exposure to Advanced ATP, GTS, TM, EWM, or RAR.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and modern testing/documentation practices.

Education 

• SAP SD or S/4HANA certifications are required.
• Advanced or professional-level SAP certifications are preferred.
• Relevant hands-on SAP experience is valued over formal academic degrees.
