Job description
Description
AI Enablement & Adaptation Manager
About the Role
Varonis is building an AI-powered organization across platforms including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, Gemini, AgentForce, GitHub Copilot and more. IT Business Applications owns the platforms, governance, and guardrails. Business teams build on top of them.
The AI Enablement & Adaptation Manager is the link between those two worlds. As platforms evolve and IT updates its guidance, this role ensures every team across Varonis stays informed, capable, and building confidently within the right boundaries. This is an always-on, continuous function — not a one-time rollout.
You'll join IT Business Applications as an individual contributor with the expectation of building a team as the function matures.
What You'll Do
AI Adoption & Change Management
Drive company-wide AI adoption by building a culture where teams use AI confidently and within IT's established guardrails
Apply structured change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) to move teams from awareness to active, informed use
Identify adoption friction by department and persona — knowledge gaps, guardrail confusion, lack of confidence — and design targeted interventions
Build and manage an AI Champions network to extend reach across departments and maintain a real-time pulse on adoption health
Partner with IT to ensure every platform rollout or policy update includes a clear adoption plan before it reaches the business
Continuous Education & Enablement
Serve as the ongoing education layer between IT and the business — continuously translating evolving tools, guidance, and guardrails into timely, actionable communication
Proactively get platform updates and policy changes into teams' hands before they become blockers
Run ongoing, audience-tailored education sessions for executives, team leads, and individual contributors as the AI landscape evolves
Help teams understand not just what the tools do, but why the guardrails exist — framing governance as an enabler of faster, safer building
Stay ahead of updates across all current and future AI platforms and translate new capabilities into practical education
Feedback Loop & Measurement
Define and track adoption KPIs: activation rates, feature utilization, guardrail adherence, and team confidence
Surface where education isn't landing or where guardrails are creating friction, and feed that back to IT so guidance stays practical and current
Report regularly to IT leadership, connecting adoption trends to business outcomes
Team Building
Own the enablement function end-to-end as an individual contributor; define the team structure and grow it as the function scales

Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or high-growth tech
Background in instructional design or corporate education
Familiarity with AI governance and responsible AI frameworks
Why This Role
