Job Description:

The consultant is responsible for implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA QM solutions to streamline manufacturing and production processes. The consultant works closely with business users to understand requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, QM, SD, and PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA QM module, covering both discrete and process manufacturing environments.
  • Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Configure key components such as Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
  • Integrate with related modules including MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), and SD (Sales & Distribution).
  • Support advanced planning scenarios, such as Demand Management, Long-Term Planning, and Production Execution.
  • Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams to develop custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
  • Assist with S/4HANA migration and data conversion activities related to production data.
  • Ensure process standardization and adoption of SAP best practices across manufacturing operations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or IT-related discipline.
  • 5 years SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10 years SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience across 3 implementation projects.
  • 5 years SAP S/4 HANA Implementation experience in QM.
  • Hands-on configuration experience in key submodules β€” MRP, Work Centers, Routing, BOM, and Shop Floor Control.
  • Experience integrating SAP S/4 HANA with SAP S/4 HANA MM, FICO, QM, WM, and PPDS.
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to S/4HANA simplifications.
  • Experience in preparing detailed functional specifications and testing documentation.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience implementing SAP S/4 HANA leveraging SAP Best Practices.

Business/Industry:

  • Understanding of production execution processes (Discrete, Kanban) and capacity planning.
  • Understanding of the GxP and validation requirements as used in the LifeSciences Industry.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (up to Director Level employees on client side).
  • Comfortable running workshops as the lead participant.
  • Capable to present pros and cons of solution options and having a Point of View.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($80/Hr - $90/Hr).  This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
