Our client is an AI-powered competitive intelligence platform that helps consumer brands track, analyze, and act on competitor activity—including ads, creative assets, pricing, positioning, and market signals—all in one place.

Role Overview:
We're looking for a Part-Time UX/UI Designer (20 hours per week) to own the visual and interaction design across three critical areas of the business:

  • The company's marketing website
  • Campaign-specific landing pages
  • The Spyglass product experience

You’ll work directly with founders and engineers to design polished, conversion-focused experiences that help drive growth and improve product usability. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role with significant ownership and direct influence on the product and brand.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, maintain, and continuously improve the Spyglass marketing website
    • Create responsive page layouts, templates, and scalable design patterns
    • Collaborate on content hierarchy, visual storytelling, and conversion-focused user journeys
    • Ensure a consistent and polished brand experience across all web properties
    • Optimize user flows to improve demo bookings and sign-up conversions
    • Design high-converting landing pages for paid acquisition campaigns, partnerships, and product launches
    • Create and test A/B variants for key conversion elements, including:
            • Hero sections
            • Calls-to-action (CTAs)
            • Social proof sections
            • Page structures and layouts
    • Develop reusable landing page frameworks that enable rapid campaign deployment
    • Support experimentation initiatives through iterative design improvements
    • Contribute to the design of the Spyglass platform, including:
            • Dashboards
            • Competitor intelligence feeds
            • Alerts and notifications
            • Data visualizations
            • Workflow experiences
    • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
    • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure smooth implementation
    • Conduct usability reviews and identify opportunities to improve user experience
    • Translate user feedback and product requirements into intuitive design solutions
    • Build and maintain a scalable design system across marketing and product surfaces
    • Establish reusable components, design tokens, and interaction patterns
    • Ensure consistency across web experiences, landing pages, and product interfaces
    • Help define design standards as the platform continues to grow

Requirements

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design experience in startup, SaaS, agency, or fast-paced environments
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both:
    • Marketing websites and landing pages
    • Product design for SaaS platforms, dashboards, or web applications
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including:
    • Auto Layout
    • Components
    • Variables
    • Interactive prototyping
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles
  • Excellent visual design skills with a sharp eye for:

    • Color systems
    • Visual hierarchy
  • Experience designing conversion-focused experiences and optimizing user journeys
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and understand implementation constraints
