About the position

AudioCodes is looking for a motivated Computer Science student to join our UMP QA Automation team. This role offers hands-on experience in developing automated tests using Python in an AI-powered development environment, while working with cloud technologies and modern QA practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, eager to learn, and comfortable collaborating in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities  

• You will develop and maintain automated tests in Python within an AI-assisted coding environment (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Execute both manual and automated testing for the AudioCodes UMP application
• Work with Microsoft Azure via Azure Portal to manage and test cloud-based resources
• Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot issues, providing technical insights and solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both Hebrew- and English-speaking environments

Requirements

• Computer Science student, with a minimum of two years left to complete degree
• Proven hands-on experience in Python programming
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Strong English communication skills, including conversational ability
• Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)

 Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud concepts, especially Microsoft Azure
• Basic knowledge of networking
• Experience with Jira or similar tools
• Experience with PyCharm IDE
• Familiarity with Git and Gerrit
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
