AP - Senior AI Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our team at D2B. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems, particularly using large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable AI solutions, building retrieval systems, integrating APIs, and working across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Strong experience with microservices, data pipelines, and deploying AI models in production environments is essential.

Position: Senior AI Engineer

Salary: PHP 120,000 - PHP 1800,000/month (flexible for more experienced candidates)

Working Hours & Conditions: AU/NZ business hours; Mondays to Fridays, 7:00AM to 4:00PM PH Time; full-time (remote)

Responsibilities:

• Translate AI solution concepts and technical specifications into working, production-ready implementations
• Support delivery from proof of concept (POC) through initial implementation and handover
• Design, build, and deploy agentic systems and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows
• Develop and deploy AI solutions across cloud environments, with a focus on GCP and familiarity with AWS and Azure
• Apply strong software architecture principles in solution design and implementation
• Implement solutions with awareness of security, governance, and data protection requirements
• Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to refine technical requirements and delivery scope
• Work independently from technical briefs with minimal supervision

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong experience as a Senior AI Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, or similar role
• Proven experience building and deploying AI-powered applications in production environments
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based workflows, agentic systems, and RAG architectures
• Strong API integration experience and understanding of cloud-native application development
• Experience working with GCP (preferred), with exposure to AWS and Azure
• Solid understanding of software architecture, scalable system design, and SDLC best practices
• Ability to work with partially defined requirements and evolving project scope
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance speed, quality, and practical constraints

• Exposure to AI governance, guardrails, or enterprise AI control frameworks
• Experience with internal AI enablement tools or enterprise-scale AI implementations
• Ability to collaborate with senior technical stakeholders on solution design and architecture decisions
