Senior Technical Project Manager

Project duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)

Start date: July 1, 2026

Location: remote from the EU.

Limitations: EU citizens only (Baltic countries strongly preferred)

Role: We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure and network-related projects for a financial institution in the Baltics region.

The project's focus is on improving the resilience, scalability, and security of the bank’s infrastructure while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Technical Project Manager will lead this initiative, overseeing all aspects of planning, execution, and stakeholder management.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of File Systems: Basic understanding of file system concepts, especially NFS (Network File System) and its architecture, protocols, and best practices.

• Experience with Storage Solutions: Familiarity with various storage technologies, both on-premises (like NAS, SAN).

• Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols, especially those that pertain to file sharing and data transfer.

• Experience leading infrastructure/network projects

• At least 3 years' experience in hands-on project management:

  • planning

  • budgeting and forecasting

  • reporting

  • stakeholders management

  • RAID management

• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• Extended experience in the financial sector

• Familiar with waterfall as well as iterative (agile) project delivery

Preferred Requirements:

• Project management certification - PMI PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA Level C (or above)

• Bank experience (IT context)

• Candidates located in the Baltic countries preferred
