Job description

Role Descriptions: Technical/Functional Skills :
· Strong expertise in Python and AI/ML frameworks
· Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs (Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, RAG)
· Experience in Intelligent Automation / RPA tools · Strong knowledge of AI-driven workflow orchestration and agent-based automation
· Experience in API development, microservices architecture, and system integrations
· Expertise in data pipelines, ETL processes, and structured/unstructured data processing
· Experience with Azure cloud platform (AI services, app services, data services)
· Familiarity with MLOps / LLMOps frameworks (model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management)
· Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices
· Domain exposure to life sciences/pharma processes (clinical, medical, patient services preferred)
· Strong stakeholder management, solutioning, and leadership skills

Roles & Responsibilities : · Lead design and implementation of AI and automation solutions across Lilly business functions (medical, clinical, commercial) · Architect and build LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and intelligent automation frameworks · Drive end-to-end solution delivery (requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, scaling) · Lead PoCs, pilots, and enterprise-scale rollouts of AI/automation initiatives · Define and implement best practices for AI architecture, MLOps, and reusable accelerators · Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and IT teams to identify transformation opportunities · Ensure solutions meet quality, performance, security, and compliance standards (GxP, HIPAA) · Support client interactions, solution demos, and executive-level discussions

Nice to have Skills : · Experience in pharma-specific AI use cases (medical information, adverse event processing, protocol digitization) · Exposure to Adobe (AEM/AJO), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, other platforms · Knowledge of vector databases, knowledge graphs, and semantic search · Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes · Understanding of AI governance, explainability, and validation frameworks · Experience in process mining and workflow optimization · Ability to create dashboards, insights, and executive reporting (Power BI or similar)

Education : · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
