We are seeking motivated MBA candidates and business/finance students for our Summer Internship Program, offering hands-on experience and professional development opportunities in our dynamic and visionary environment.

Position Overview

BoT Auto aims high to solve big societal problems - the sky is the limit. We want to find our future teammates who share our common vision as we shape the future and excel together. The MBA/Business/Finance Summer Internship is designed for graduate students pursuing degrees in business administration, finance, or related fields. This 10-12 week program provides interns with meaningful projects and exposure to various aspects of our business operations. 

Location: Remote or Houston, TX
We are open to candidates working remotely or on-site from our Houston office. Remote candidates should be willing and able to travel as needed for business purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development and Partnerships
    • Identify potential partners, evaluate partnership opportunities, and assist with proposal development
    • Analyze partnership economics and support collaboration initiatives
  • Strategic Finance
    • Create financial models for strategic initiatives and analyze financial performance
    • Support investment decisions and contribute to long-term financial planning
  • Budget and Recruitment Planning
    • Assist with departmental budget preparation and headcount planning
    • Analyze operational costs and support talent acquisition strategies
  • Strategic Market Research
    • Conduct market analysis, research industry trends, and prepare insights reports
    • Support data-driven strategic decision-making through competitive intelligence
  • Special Projects and Corporate Development
    • Support market entry strategies, new entity setup, and Proof of Concept initiatives
    • Assist with evaluating potential M&A opportunities and strategic investments

Responsibilities will be tailored to align with each candidate's skills, experience, and career goals. For example, candidates with finance backgrounds may focus more on financial modeling and analysis, while those with marketing experience might take on more market research and business development projects.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in an MBA program or pursuing a graduate degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Completion of at least one year of graduate studies by the start of the internship
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
  • Experience with financial statement analysis and data interpretation
  • Prior internship experience in finance, consulting, or business preferred but not required
