Job description

Job Title:PLM Engineer – Aras Innovator
Location:US – Massachusetts (Preferred) / Remote Available
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PLM Engineer with strong Aras Innovator expertise to support enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Aras Innovator configuration, customization, integrations, workflow automation, and production support.
This role requires deep understanding of PLM processes such as BOM management, engineering change control (ECR/ECO), product data management, and system integrations with ERP/CAD platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, customize, and maintain Aras Innovator PLM platform
Develop and enhance PLM workflows, forms, methods, reports, and business logic
Manage product structures, BOMs, revisions, and change processes (ECR/ECO)
Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve defects
Develop integrations between Aras PLM and enterprise systems such as SAP / Oracle ERP
Support CAD integrations and engineering data synchronization
Work with business users, engineering teams, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements
Perform data migration, system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities
Create technical documentation and support training efforts
Ensure platform performance, scalability, and governance best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of overall PLM experience
4+ years hands-on Aras Innovator experience
Strong expertise in:
- Aras configuration & customization
- Data modeling
- Workflow development
- BOM Management
- ECR / ECO / Change Management
Strong programming skills in:
- C#
- .NET
- JavaScript
- SQL Server
Experience supporting enterprise production environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
