Title: IT Communications Specialist
Duration: 8 months contract
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid), 27609 

Shift: Standard Business Hours

Position Summary
• Develop and deploy internal communications to support IT initiatives, product enhancements, and enterprise programs.
• Drive employee engagement, adoption, and awareness of IT platforms and services.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, user-focused communication strategies.
• Support measurement and continuous improvement of communication effectiveness and user experience.

Responsibilities
• Partner with IT CSE Leads, team members, and stakeholders to prepare communication plans for IT initiatives, product enhancements, and enterprise changes.
• Develop end-user communications including news articles, internal social content, email campaigns, executive communications, and user surveys.
• Support enterprise-wide and targeted campaigns to enhance user experience and adoption.
• Collaborate with learning teams to prepare and edit content for live events, learning labs, and eLearning courses.
• Prepare presentations and support delivery in IT-hosted meetings and forums.
• Design, analyze, and report on communication effectiveness, including surveys, training completion, and project metrics.

Qualifications

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or related field

Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in internal communications, IT communications, HR, or marketing
• Experience working in enterprise or corporate environments

Skills:
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience developing communication strategies and campaigns
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong understanding of data collection, reporting, and analytics
• Fluency with IT and technical subject matter
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:
• Technical writing experience
• Corporate or social media content experience
• SEO writing experience
• Experience using generative AI tools for content development
