ServiceNow QA Engineer (HAM/SAM)

Client is seeking a ServiceNow QA Engineer with strong experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing ServiceNow modules, validating integrations, and ensuring asset lifecycle and licence compliance processes meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans and test cases for ServiceNow HAM & SAM / SAM Pro.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing on ServiceNow modules.
• Validate asset lifecycle, discovery, normalization, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Test SAM Pro features such as licence compliance, entitlements, and optimization.
• Test ServiceNow configurations (Business Rules, Flows, Client Scripts, ACLs).
• Validate integrations with Discovery, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Tanium, and CMDB sources.
• Log, track, and resolve defects; support automation (ATF) where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers and BAs; maintain test documentation and reports.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM & SAM / SAM Pro.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle, licence models, CMDB, and CSDM.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and test management tools; ATF is a plus.
