Working Title: NC ROOTS Regional Hub Vice President

FLSA Status: Exempt

Posting Salary Range: $139,195 - $177,301

Office Location: Remote in North Carolina and within Region 5 of Trillium’s catchment area (See requirements section for included counties)

What We’re Looking For


Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for an NC ROOTS Regional Hub Vice President to join our team! The Regional Hub Vice President serves as the senior operational leader responsible for translating the NC ROOTS Hub strategy into disciplined, on-the-ground execution across the region. This role oversees day-to-day operations, implementation of all hub initiatives, and performance management of sub-awardees and network partners. Working in close partnership with the Executive Director, the Vice President ensures that all programs are executed with speed, quality, accountability, and measurable outcomes. This role functions as the “integrator” of the Hub, aligning teams, partners, and initiatives into a cohesive, high-performing system.


*Recruitment for this position is being conducted in anticipation of program funding approval. The position is contingent upon receipt and continuation of funding through the NC Roots effective June 1, 2026. The organization reserves the right to delay hiring, modify, or withdraw the position based on funding status.



On a typical day, you might:


  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Regional Hub across multiple counties and partners. 
  • Oversee execution of all required and elective initiatives.
  • Directly oversee core hub functions, including program implementation teams, community engagement staff, regional CBO network management, and operational support functions.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison with health systems and providers, community-based organizations, public health partners, and workforce and social service partners.
  • Operationalize a real-time performance tracking system.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, public health, or large-scale program implementation, including experience overseeing program performance, contracts, or service delivery networks. Must include minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience; OR 
  • Master’s degree and three (3) years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, public health, or large-scale program implementation, including experience overseeing program performance, contracts, or service delivery networks. Must include minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside in North Carolina and within Region 5 of Trillium’s catchment area, which includes the following counties: Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, New Hanover, Pender, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland.  


Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in North Carolina or similar rural/regional environments.
  • Experience managing grant-funded or publicly funded programs. 
  • Familiarity with sub-awardee or network-based funding models. 
  • Experience scaling programs across multiple geographies.
